'Bittara Aappa' in Rekha Restaurant, Doha - a TheGalleryYou experience.

We dropped to have some short-eats and tea for the evening, in a Sri Lankan Cuisine, Rekha Restautant.. And, we found "Bittara Aappa"

Well, everyone who has had this particular food in Sri Lanka loves it and simply can’t get enough of it. Bittara Aappa is called Egg Hoppers for the non-singhalese speakers. It is sort of like having a whole egg right in the middle of a bowl-shaped fried bread

They make these Aappa or Hoppers on the spot to be had hot and fresh, it's really nice when they served with powdered-Pepper on top. Also if you do really want to taste the SriLankan favor, try with Lunu Miris - the Singhalese version of chillie paste. If you are not a spice friendly person better not try that one. Lunu Miris is normally served free with the Aappa.

Rekha Restaurant, located in Fereej Bin Mahmoud, near Badriya Signal, in a crowded area with less parking slots.

Unfortunately #BittaraAappa only serves in the evening, at Rekha Restaurant.
